Prerequesits

Recommended installation:

For GIT:

  • Windows 10: Download and use through PowerShell, or Client
  • Windows 7,8: Download and install Client
  • Linux/Debian/Unix: sudo apt-get install git
  • Mac: Should be installed already (try >>git --version in Terminal). Otherwise download

For Bash:

  • Windows 10: PowerShell should be sufficient
  • Windows 7,8: Use CygWin
  • Linux: Terminal
  • Mac: Terminal

For Python: (version 3.X)

  • Windows 7, 8, 10:
  • Linux:
    • already installed (depending on distribution): test via >>python3 --version
    • Otherwise: >>sudo apt-get install python3
  • Mac:
  • alternative: Online Interpreter
