About me
After my Diploma degree in Informatics I started working in May 2010 as a PhD student of Univ.-Prof. Dr. Michael Bader in the group "Simulation großer Systeme" [1] at the IPVS, Universität Stuttgart, which back then was led by Prof. Marc-Alexander Schweitzer [2]. In November 2011 I moved to Munich to contiunue my PhD studies as a member of the chair for Scientific Computing in Computer Science under Univ.-Prof. Dr. Hans-Joachim Bungartz, still under the advisorship of Prof. Bader.
My topics of interest include High Performacne Computing (HPC) for applications such as multi-phase flow in porous media and tsunami simulation, dynamically adaptive grids, parallelization of unstructured meshes and load balancing with space-filling curves.
