15:00 Uhr - Hosam Hassan: An Interactive Fluid Dynamics Game on the iPhone
The thesis focuses on porting a Computational Fluid dynamics simulation engine to the iPhone platform. The simulation engine was fully re-designed and optimized. This included performance and memory optimization to be able to run smoothly on a hand-held device with the minimum hardware requirements. The topic also includes the implementation of a customizable and interactive visualization engine written using OpenGL ES. The topic is an example for an interactive scientific computing problem fully realized from the modeling stage to the visualization step.
